Forgotten Feet

Charity Number: 1179671

Restoring dignity, one step at a time.

At Blackfords Footcare, we believe that everyone deserves access to professional foot care, regardless of their circumstances.

That belief is why Joanne is proud to volunteer with Forgotten Feet, a UK registered charity dedicated to providing free podiatry

and foot health care to people experiencing homelessness and those experiencing vulnerability or social exclusion.

For many people, painful feet are far more than an inconvenience. They can affect mobility, independence, employment opportunities and overall health. Forgotten Feet exists to ensure that some of the most vulnerable members of our communities receive compassionate, professional foot care when they need it most.

Working alongside fellow volunteer podiatrists and foot health professionals, Joanne provides assessment and treatment to help relieve pain, reduce the risk of infection and improve mobility. Just as importantly, these clinics offer kindness, respect and a welcoming environment where every individual is treated with dignity.

Looking to the Future

Blackfords Footcare is proud to support the work of Forgotten Feet and shares the charity's vision that no one should be denied essential foot care because of their circumstances.

As the clinic continues to grow, Joanne hopes to work with Forgotten Feet to establish a local clinic in Cannock, helping to bring this invaluable service closer to those who need it within our own community.

While these plans are still in development, this goal reflects our ongoing commitment to improving health, reducing inequalities and making a positive difference beyond the walls of our clinic.
